AB-14
In the land of the brave and the home of the free,
There sailed a boat, so grand to see.
USS Sentinel, a vessel so bold,
With a heart of steel, and a story untold.
Built in the year of seventeen,
By Pacific Shipyards, a sight to be seen.
She sailed the waters, strong and true,
A symbol of courage, for me and for you.
On that fateful day, in August's light,
USS Sentinel joined the Navy's might.
Commissioned and ready, she set sail,
With her crew so brave, they would never fail.
Through stormy seas and battles fought,
USS Sentinel, she never forgot.
Her duty to protect, her mission clear,
A guardian of freedom, without any fear.
Now she rests in history's embrace,
USS Sentinel, a legend we trace.
Her name lives on, in tales we tell,
A reminder of heroes, who served so well.
