ADA accessible
In 1990, a law was made,
To protect those with disabilities, it did aid.
No more discrimination, it said,
For Americans with disabilities, it spread.
Just like the Civil Rights Act before,
It banned discrimination, that's for sure.
No matter your race, religion, or sex,
Or any other characteristic, it protects.
But the ADA went a step further, you see,
It required employers to make accommodations, so free.
For employees with disabilities, they must provide,
A fair and equal chance, side by side.
Public accommodations, they must be,
Accessible to all, that's the decree.
No barriers or obstacles in the way,
Everyone can access, every single day.
In 1990, this law was signed,
By President George H. W. Bush, so kind.
And in 2008, it was amended once more,
To ensure equal rights, forevermore.
