In a land down under, where kangaroos hop, There's a committee that's always on top. The Health Protection Heroes, they're called, Keeping us safe, standing tall and bold. Led by the Chief Medical Officer, so wise, They make decisions that are oh so wise. The states and territories, they all unite, To protect our health, day and night. Their function is clear, their purpose is grand, To advise on matters across the land. From disease control to emergency plans, They work together, hand in hand. In the days of old, they advised the Council, But now they speak directly, with no dismissal. To the National Cabinet, their advice is sent, Guiding our nation, with good intent.
