AL48
There lived a shotgun, shiny and new.
Its name was 48 AL, a magical sight,
Manufactured by Luigi Franchi, with all its might.
John Browning's creation, a stroke of his hand.
Rounds cycled through long recoil, a dance so sweet,
As the shotgun fired, it was quite the feat.
But three different sizes, for me and for you.
12 gauge, 20 gauge, and 28 gauge too,
The 48 AL had options, for all to pursue.
Polished in black, shining bright, altogether.
Walnut stocks and forends, a touch of class,
Franchi's craftsmanship, a work of surpass.
Golden and gleaming, a treasure to behold.
With walnut furniture, fit for a king,
The 48 AL, a shotgun that could sing.
So let your imagination soar, my dear,
As we bid farewell to the shotgun, so clear.
In the land of nursery rhymes, where wonders unfold,
The 48 AL, a story to be told.
