In the land of radar and computer, A system was born, oh what a beaut! PAVE PAWS, its name so grand, To protect our shores, across the land. With phased arrays, it could detect, Sea-launched missiles, it could intercept. Raytheon's radars, so advanced, Covering 240 degrees, they danced. In 1980, the first two sites, Deployed to keep us safe at night. At the edge of the United States they stood, Watching for threats, as they should. More sites came later, in '87 and '95, Expanding the network, keeping us alive. The United States Space Surveillance Network, With PAVE PAWS, never a concern.
