In the year '85, PlayNET did appear, Licensing its software, without any fear, Quantum Link embraced it, with delight, And in November, they took their first flight. A PC client, IBM did create, And in '88, it sealed its fate, America Online, a new name was found, In '89, it was crowned. With three million users, AOL did rise, The largest online service, a wonderful surprise, Pioneering the internet, in the '90s it soared, The most recognized brand, the people adored.
