They saw wind power as a clean source of might, Electricity for consumers, shining bright. With 1,000 members, they stood tall and strong, Promoting wind energy, singing its song. From project developers to researchers keen, They all joined hands to make the world green. Equipment suppliers and service providers too, Working together, a wind energy crew. They believed in the power of the gusty breeze, To bring clean electricity, put minds at ease. Their mission was to spread this message wide, Wind energy, a source we should all abide. In 2021, a new association took the lead, The American Clean Power Association, indeed. But the legacy of AWEA will forever remain, A champion of wind energy, a sustainable gain.
