In the hands of a lumberjack, It's a weapon, never to lack. With a swing, it splits the wood, An axe, misunderstood but good. In tales of old, it's a hero's friend, Saving the day, till the very end. With a blade that gleams in the sun, An axe, a legend that's never done. So let's remember the axe's might, A tool and weapon, shining bright.
