In southern Taiwan, a river flows, The Love River, where love always shows. From Renwu District, it starts its way, To Kaohsiung Harbor, where it ends its play. Like the River Thames, it's a city's spine, Kaohsiung's heart, where love intertwines. Cultural significance, it holds so dear, To the people of Kaohsiung, it's oh so clear. A park runs along the river's side, Love River Park, where joy will abide. Night market buzzes, with treats to eat, And outdoor cafés, where live bands meet. Tourists hop on boats, a scenic ride, Up and down the river, they gently glide. Holy Rosary Cathedral, a sight to see, Kaohsiung Bridge, standing tall and free. Once polluted, the Love River was, But now it's clean, thanks to the city's cause. Duck boats, love boats, and gondolas too, Enjoy the view, as the city comes into view. So come to the Love River, where love is alive, Experience the magic, let your heart thrive. With a proposed ferris wheel, romance will bloom, And the economy will flourish, like a sweet perfume.
