Once upon a time, in a lab so grand, A drug was created, oh so unplanned. Roxibolone, its name so unique, An antiglucocorticoid, it did seek. With carboxylic acid, it was adorned, Formebolone's cousin, so closely formed. Cholesterol-lowering, it aimed to be, Anabolic effects, for all to see. In rats it was tested, to see its might, Counteracting catabolism, oh what a sight! Alkaline phosphatase, it did decrease, And nitrogen balance, it helped to appease. But to the glucocorticoid receptor, it did not bind, Its antiglucocorticoid effects, a different kind. Enzyme inhibition, it may employ, To bring balance and harmony, oh what a joy! No androgenic activity, it did possess, No myotrophic power, no strength to impress. But well-tolerated, it was said to be, Roxibolone, the magical drug, for you and me.
