Bu Ren

A king of tales untold. Wai Ren, his name so grand, Ruled over the Shang land. He played the royal game. Sima Qian, the historian wise, Listed him as king, a surprise! His reign, oh so divine. Gengxu was the year he began, With Ao as his capital, a plan. Rebellion had its say. Pei and Xian, vassals bold, Against Wai Ren they were cold. Or so the records have shown. But the Bamboo Annals, they say, Ten years he ruled, come what may. Given a name in the night. Bu Ren, posthumously he became, His son, He Dan Jia, took the same. Random page: Hi-5 (series 13)
