CC-CKR-2

In our bodies, there's a gene, Called CCR2, oh so keen! It makes a protein, that's its role, Helping our immune system stay in control. CCR2, a receptor it's called, It's like a lock, waiting to be installed. It binds to chemokines, a special kind, Guiding immune cells, they're hard to find. CD192, another name it goes by, A cluster of differentiation, oh so spry! It helps our body fight off infection, By recruiting immune cells, with great affection. CCR2, a CC chemokine receptor, It's a molecular detective, a true specter. It senses danger, it knows the signs, Directing immune cells, like little rhymes. So let's thank CCR2, our immune guide, For keeping us healthy, by its side. It's a protein hero, so strong and true, Protecting our bodies, me and you! Random page: Pd2F6
