In the land of DOS, where memory is tight, There's a service called DPMS, shining so bright. It helps drivers and programs, oh what a delight, To load in extended memory, day and night. No longer confined to conventional space, DPMS lets them run in a protected place. With just a tiny stub, they interface, To communicate with DOS, at their own pace. Device drivers and TSRs, they all can roam, Relocating themselves, finding a new home. In 16-bit or 32-bit, they freely roam, Leaving more memory for others to own. Complex drivers, with their size so grand, Can load and take advantage of memory's hand. Conventional memory, now with more land, For DOS drivers and apps, it's truly grand. Under Windows, resources are freed, With DPMS, more memory is indeed. Unified interfaces, fulfilling every need, In protected mode, performance will exceed.
