DRB Class 01.10

In the land of locomotives, oh so grand, There was a steam engine, the finest in the land, The Class 01.10, fast and strong, It pulled the express train, all day long. Developed in the 1930s, with great care, A part of the standard locomotive affair, It chugged and it puffed, with power and might, Taking passengers on a speedy flight. In the 1950s, it got a makeover, Modernized and improved, it soared even higher, With shiny new features, it was quite a sight, The Class 01.10, a true delight. Through the hills and valleys, it would glide, With its wheels spinning, side by side, From city to city, it would roam, Bringing people safely to their home. But alas, the time of steam came to an end, The Deutsche Bundesbahn bid farewell to its friend, The Class 01.10, a legend it became, Forever remembered for its steamy flame.
