In a field of flowers, oh so bright, There blooms a yellow composite, a wondrous sight. With petals like sunshine, golden and bold, It stands tall and proud, never to fold. The Asteraceae family is where it belongs, With daisies and sunflowers, singing joyful songs. Its name may be peculiar, a mystery to some, But this flower's beauty can't be outdone. Its vibrant color brings joy to the day, As bees and butterflies come out to play. They dance around the composite, so fair, Spreading pollen through the air. So let us cherish this flower, so grand, With petals like sunshine, in the land. For in its presence, we find delight, The damned yellow composite, shining so bright.
