DYEH 729 kHz

Once upon a time, in a land so fair, There was a radio station, floating in the air. DYER was its name, a station so grand, Bringing music and news to every corner of the land. Owned by DCG Radio-TV Network, they say, Broadcasting all throughout the day. It used to be called Environment Radio, Under Mayor Edward Hagedorn, don't you know? For many years, it played on 1062 AM, But in 2008, it moved, oh what a gem! The frequency changed, it was a brand new start, But alas, the station went off the air, breaking our heart. No more songs, no more shows, No more DJ's with their lively prose. But let's remember the joy it once brought, The memories it created, the lessons it taught. Though DYER is gone, it will never be forgot, A radio station we'll cherish, a special spot. In the history of broadcasting, it had its place, And in our hearts, it will always have a space.
