In a lab so grand and bright, Lived a compound shining white, DTBP was its name, Known for its peroxide fame. With tert-butyl groups so neat, It stayed stable, oh so sweet, Bulky and strong, they did defend, DTBP, a peroxide friend. A colorless liquid, clear as day, DTBP loved to dance and play, In chemical reactions, it would partake, Creating new compounds, oh what a break! In the lab, it was always sought, For reactions, it was the perfect plot, With its peroxide group, it would ignite, Creating wonders, oh what a sight!
