EC-508

In a land of hormones, so magical and grand, There lived a little estrogen, named EC508, so grand. It was developed by Evestra, with care and love, To help women in their journey, like a gentle dove. For menopause it was created, a therapy so fine, To ease the symptoms, like hot flashes in line. But EC508 had more to offer, oh so true, As a contraceptive, it could prevent pregnancy too. An orally active estrogen, it traveled through the veins, A prodrug of estradiol, with no first-pass pains. Unlike its cousins, it didn't undergo much change, High bioavailability, its advantage so strange. In the liver, it didn't cause disproportionate effects, Unlike its counterparts, it had no liver defects. With the convenience of oral administration, so neat, EC508 was a hormone superhero, truly a feat. Evestra had big plans, for EC508's fame, Seeking Investigational New Drug status, to acclaim. With its potential to replace, both estradiol and more, EC508 was a magical estrogen, that we adore. Random page: OSA Fellow
