With a magnitude that varies, up and down,
It twinkles in the sky, like a sparkling crown.
Located far away, 537 light-years,
It drifts further, year after year.
A member of Ursa Major Moving Group it be,
A stellar family, dancing gracefully.

A double-lined binary, in a special way.
With an orbital period of 14.7 days,
They dance around each other, in a cosmic ballet.
The stars are similar, A-type they are,
A0V, shining bright, near and far.
Their rotation rates are not high,
But their spectra show, they're not shy.

Remember HD 171978, shining so bright.
A binary star system, a celestial delight,
Twinkling and dancing, in the dark sky's light.
