In the first year, FY1 was the name, Learning the ropes, it was all a new game, Gaining experience in different specialties, Caring for patients with all their complexities. Then came the second year, FY2 in sight, Building on skills, shining ever so bright, From acutely ill patients to chronic conditions, The foundation doctor learned with precision. In a variety of settings, they would roam, Gaining knowledge, making each place their home, Learning teamwork, time management, and more, Communication and IT skills to explore.
