Flabellobasis

In South Africa, a moth takes flight, Its name is Flabellobasis, oh what a sight! With snout so long and wings so grand, It flutters gracefully across the land. Boris Balinsky, a scientist wise, Described this genus with sparkling eyes. He studied its features, both big and small, And gave it a name that would enthrall. Flabellobasis, a name so unique, Like a melody that all creatures seek. With delicate wings, it dances in the air, Spreading joy and wonder everywhere. Children, gather 'round, come take a peek, At this snout moth, so gentle and meek. Its colors so vibrant, its patterns so fine, A masterpiece of nature, truly divine.
