Born in the fifties, a creation divine, The GP9 came to steal the line. With a sixteen-cylinder engine, so strong, 1,750 horses, it pulls along. The GP9 succeeded the GP7, its kin, A new model, a new era did begin. With General Purpose in its name, It brought power and fame to its claim. Some GP9s had control cabs, you see, While others were built without, fancy-free. The ones without were called GP9Bs, A unique twist, to put minds at ease.
