GY6 Engine
In Taiwan, China, and beyond,
A special engine can be found,
The GY6, a marvel to see,
A four-stroke single-cylinder, you see.
It sits near horizontal, so neat,
Powering scooters on the street,
With its design, so clever and smart,
It's become a generic work of art.
Kymco, inspired by Honda's fame,
Created clones, just the same,
The Pulsar, a beauty to behold,
Made to Honda's standards, we're told.
Honda's KCW125, a star in Japan,
Modified by Kwang Yang Motor's plan,
Under Honda's guidance, it was made,
The GY6, a standard model displayed.
From Taiwan, the GY6 did roam,
Imported by makers, far from home,
To southern China, it spread with glee,
A little engine that set hearts free.
