Gnaeus Lucretius

In ancient Rome, oh what a sight, A moneyer named Trio, shining bright, With his denarii, he made his mark, Creating coins, a work of art. A head of Roma, proud and strong, Facing right, where she belongs, With "TRIO" behind, a name so grand, A symbol of power, throughout the land. Beneath her chin, an "X" so neat, A tiny mark, a detail sweet, It tells the tale of Trio's skill, In crafting coins, with such goodwill. The Dioscuri, brave and bold, Galloping right, with strength and might, A symbol of victory, shining bright. Below the horses, "CN. LVCR" we see, The initials of Trio, for all to agree, A mark of pride, a legacy true, In the world of coins, he surely knew.
