Gnaeus Pompeius Magnus (gens Licinia)

In ancient Rome, there once lived a man, Pompeius, noble and grand. Born in the first century, a Roman true, With a heart so brave and strong too. Not to be confused with Pompey the Great, Pompeius had his own fate. Son of Marcus Licinius Crassus Frugi, And Scribonia, his mother so lovely. Pompeius, a name that echoed with pride, In the annals of history, he did reside. A consul's son, with a lineage so fine, His noble blood flowed through every line. With courage and honor, he faced each day, In the Roman Empire, he made his way. A man of wisdom, respected by all, Pompeius stood tall, standing proud and tall. So let us remember this noble Roman's name, Pompeius, a hero of ancient fame. In the hearts of children, his story shall live, A reminder of the strength that history can give.
