Go-Bugyo
In ancient Japan, so long ago,
A group of leaders started to grow.
The Go-Bugyō, they were called,
Five commissioners, strong and bold.
Toyotomi Hideyoshi, wise and grand,
Became their leader, with a steady hand.
As kampaku, he took the lead,
Guiding Japan with great speed.
The Go-Bugyō, a council of might,
Administering justice, day and night.
They ruled the land with fairness and care,
Making sure everyone was treated fair.
As time went on, their power grew,
Evolved into the Go-Tairō, it's true.
The Council of Five Elders, they became,
A symbol of wisdom, honor, and fame.
So let us remember this tale of old,
The Go-Bugyō, brave and bold.
They showed us the importance of leadership,
And how to guide with fairness and fellowship.
