HM-14
In Norfolk town, by the sea,
A squadron flew, so wild and free.
Helicopters, big and strong,
They soared above, all day long.
HM-14 was their name,
The Vanguard, they gained great fame.
With Sea Dragons, they took to the sky,
Searching for mines, up so high.
Sister squadron, HM-15,
The Blackhawks, a mighty team.
Together they flew, side by side,
Protecting the waters, far and wide.
But on that day, in twenty-two,
HM-14 bid their last adieu.
Their final mission, they did complete,
Their duty done, their work replete.
In March, they closed their doors,
Their legacy forever soars.
But fear not, for the Blackhawks remain,
To carry on, the squadron's name.
