HMAS Brisbane I

A cruiser strong and full of gilt. With Chatham design, she set sail, To brave the seas, without fail. Through Pacific waters, she called home. A mighty ship, so grand and true, Protecting our land, for me and you. HMAS Brisbane fought for life. In battles fierce, she stood her ground, With bravery and courage, she was renowned. Decommissioned and recommissioned, rearranged. A training ship, she became, Teaching sailors, her noble aim. Sold for scrap, her journey done.
