H A Probert
In the skies he soared so high,
Air Commodore Probert, oh my!
With wings of courage, he took to flight,
Guiding planes with all his might.
A historian, wise and grand,
He studied the past, a learned man.
He shared his knowledge, far and wide,
Teaching others with great pride.
The Royal Air Force, he did serve,
As Director of Education, with verve.
He guided young minds, oh so bright,
Inspiring dreams to take to flight.
From '76 to '78, he led the way,
Helping students learn, day by day.
With passion and dedication, he did impart,
The love for learning, deep in the heart.
Though now he's gone, his legacy remains,
In the hearts of those who took his reins.
Air Commodore Probert, we remember you,
A hero in the skies, forever true.
