Once upon a time, in a land far away,
A pirate sailed the seas, where he would play.
He Xiwen was his name, a fearless soul,
With a heart full of adventure, he was on a roll.
He joined the White Lotus, in Sichuan he stayed,
But his thirst for the ocean could not be swayed.
To Fujian he went, where pirates did roam,
Joining Tiandihui, he found a new home.
With his pirate band, they set sail with might,
Attacking the coasts, causing quite a fright.
Fujian and Guangdong, they plundered and raided,
Their reputation as pirates, it never faded.
But fate had a plan, a twist in the tale,
To Southern Vietnam, he set his sail.
Perhaps the Qing navy had caused him to flee,
To find a new life across the sea.
In Pulo Condor, his fleet did reside,
And there he met Nguyễn Ánh, side by side.
Swearing allegiance, a bond they did form,
He became a loyal pirate, amidst the storm.
For his talent in battle, he was renowned,
A master of the seas, his ship would astound.
But alas, in 1801, his journey did end,
Leaving behind a legacy, a pirate's friend.
So let us remember, the pirate so brave,
He Xiwen, the adventurer, riding each wave.
His tale of the sea, a story to be told,
Of a pirate's life, full of treasure and gold.
