Once upon a time, in a land far away, A pirate sailed the seas, where he would play. He Xiwen was his name, a fearless soul, With a heart full of adventure, he was on a roll. He joined the White Lotus, in Sichuan he stayed, But his thirst for the ocean could not be swayed. To Fujian he went, where pirates did roam, Joining Tiandihui, he found a new home. With his pirate band, they set sail with might, Attacking the coasts, causing quite a fright. Fujian and Guangdong, they plundered and raided, Their reputation as pirates, it never faded. But fate had a plan, a twist in the tale, To Southern Vietnam, he set his sail. Perhaps the Qing navy had caused him to flee, To find a new life across the sea. In Pulo Condor, his fleet did reside, And there he met Nguyễn Ánh, side by side. Swearing allegiance, a bond they did form, He became a loyal pirate, amidst the storm. For his talent in battle, he was renowned, A master of the seas, his ship would astound. But alas, in 1801, his journey did end, Leaving behind a legacy, a pirate's friend.
