Owned by James L. Quinn, a man with a dream, He launched If magazine, a fantastical theme. Though not the top-tier, it found its own way, With stories that would make young minds sway. Under editor Frederik Pohl, it truly shone, Winning the Hugo Award, three years in a row, it had won. The best professional magazine, it was acclaimed, With stories that left readers entertained. The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress, a novel so bold, By Robert A. Heinlein, a tale to be told. And Harlan Ellison's "I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream", A chilling short story, like a haunting dream.
