ION

In the realm of atoms, small and bright, There's a special one that shines with light, An ion it's called, with charge so grand, Positive or negative, it takes a stand. An ion can be an atom, so small, Or a molecule, a group standing tall, With electrons gained or electrons lost, Its charge is what makes it stand out the most. Positive ions, oh how they glow, With fewer electrons, they proudly show, They're called cations, and they're full of cheer, In chemical reactions, they often appear. Negative ions, they're a lively bunch, With extra electrons, they've got a hunch, They're called anions, and they're quite keen, To bond with cations, creating a team. So remember, dear ones, when you hear the word, Ion, it's a charge that's quite absurd, Atoms and molecules, charged and free, In the world of science, they dance with glee. Random page: CP-150 Onyx
