In the Cygnus constellation, far away,
A cosmic caterpillar starts its play.
Interstellar gas and dust, a wondrous sight,
Stretching a light year, shining oh so bright.
Its nickname, well deserved, a crawling friend,
A caterpillar in space, a tale to send.
Imaged by Hubble, its beauty revealed,
A cosmic wonder, in the stars concealed.
A protostar, the head, shining with grace,
But 65 O-type stars, in this space,
They scatter the matter, disrupt its plan,
Will the caterpillar survive, oh can it?
The future uncertain, the doubts arise,
Will this cosmic caterpillar reach the skies?
A star it may become, shining from afar,
Or will it fade away, just like a shooting star?
