Icaricia icarioides lycea

A butterfly that catches eyes, Boisduval's Blue, so small and bright, With wings that bring pure delight. But names have changed, they've come and gone, Icaricia, Aricia, Plebejus too, So many names, but still it flew. From Canada's north to southern side, In dunes and meadows it can be found, In mountains high, on sage-lands ground. While adults sip nectar, a tasty treat, From Eriogonum and composites fair, They flutter and dance in the summer air. Boisduval's Blue takes a graceful trip, A sight to see, a wonder to behold, This butterfly with colors bold. Random page: ZAB
