IgG4
In our bodies, there's a tale to be told,
Of a special antibody, brave and bold.
Immunoglobulin G, it's called with pride,
The most common type, in our blood it resides.
With paratopes, it's a clever design,
Two binding sites, oh how they shine!
Released by plasma B cells, they're made,
To fight off invaders, with no parade.
IgG, the defender, in our bloodstream,
Fighting off viruses, like a brave team.
With 75% in serum, it's quite a lot,
Protecting our bodies, giving it a shot.
When germs attack, IgG takes the lead,
Binding to antigens, with great speed.
Neutralizing the threat, it does so well,
Keeping us healthy, that's the tale we tell.
So let's celebrate IgG, our hero so grand,
Keeping us safe, with a helping hand.
In our bodies, it fights with all its might,
Our trusty antibody, shining so bright.
