Izabella Antonowicz-Szuszkiewicz
Izabella and Władysław, their names adorn.
With paddles in hand, they took to the lake,
Sprinting and gliding, for glory's sake.
Competed in three Olympics, we're told.
In Munich '72, she gave it her all,
Finishing sixth, she stood proud and tall.
With strength and skill, he set a fast pace.
Together they paddled, side by side,
Chasing their dreams with the rising tide.
Their canoes gliding, shining so bright.
With every stroke, they showed their might,
A power couple, a magnificent sight.
Inspiring young paddlers, like you and me.
With passion and determination, they paved the way,
The canoeing couple, forever they'll stay.
