In a land of wonder, far away, There was a potion, they used to say, N-Ethyl-3-piperidyl benzilate, A magical drink that could change your fate. Less potent than its cousin, it's true, But still, it had powers, quite a few, Deliriant and hallucinogenic, you see, Like the plants of datura, so wild and free. Some used it for fun, at low doses small, But side effects came, and they weren't so enthralled, Dysphoria, nausea, dizziness too, Extreme dry mouth, oh, what a brew! In scientific research, it played a role, Mapping receptors in the brain, a noble goal, But the N-methyl analogue was more widely used, For its potency and binding, it was enthused.
