KIEGWIN
In New York City, a festival grand,
Where dancers come from all over the land,
Fall for Dance is the name, oh so sweet,
Where new audiences and dance do meet.
Established in 2004, a wonderful plan,
To introduce dance to every woman and man,
Inspired by Delacorte Dance Festival's past,
Fall for Dance brings joy that will forever last.
Six nights of magic, each one so bright,
With up to five companies, oh what a sight,
Dancers twirl and leap, their bodies in motion,
Captivating hearts with every graceful notion.
The festival grew, its popularity soared,
In 2006, ten performances were adored,
With four programs repeated, a dance extravaganza,
Bringing joy and wonder to all who came near.
And in 2009, the festival did thrive,
Ten performances remained, oh how alive,
With five programs, each one unique,
Fall for Dance continues to make hearts speak.
