Once upon a time in Pine Bluff town, A radio station came to be renowned, KADL it was called, with a signal so clear, Spreading music and news for all to hear. From the year of 1960, it began to play, Broadcasting songs to brighten up the day, Owned by Jefferson County Broadcasting Company, Part of Southwestern Broadcasting, oh so fancy! KPBA was its name, in the later years, A station loved by many, bringing joy and cheers, With its AM frequency, it reached far and wide, Connecting people across the countryside. But alas, in 2005, a sad fate it met, The FCC decided to cancel its set, No longer would KPBA fill the airwaves, Leaving behind memories, like distant echoes in caves. Though KPBA is gone, its story remains, A reminder of the power that radio contains, So let's cherish the stations that still bring us glee, And remember the tale of KPBA, so free.
