A tomb was found, a wondrous land, Tomb KV29, its secrets untold, A mystery waiting to unfold. And Thutmose II, side by side, Merytre-Hatshepsut, a queen so fair, Their tombs, a treasure beyond compare. But no records of excavation, no guarantee, In 1899, it was given a name, KV29, its place in history, it would claim. By the Theban Mapping Project, they laid, But it wasn't until 2011, That the University of Basel had begun.
