Ki-15
In the land of rising sun, oh so bright,
There flew a plane, a marvelous sight,
The Wild Goose, with wings so wide,
It soared through the sky, with grace and pride.
With a low-wing design, it flew so fast,
A mail-plane turned bomber, built to last,
Its crew of two, brave and true,
They searched the skies, for enemies to pursue.
In the Sino-Japanese War, it took to the air,
Reconnaissance missions, with utmost care,
Through the Pacific War, it bravely flew,
As the C5M, for the Navy it knew.
Code-named "Babs" by the Allies, you see,
A secret name, for this plane so free,
But the Wild Goose, it will always be,
A symbol of courage, for all to see.
So let's remember this tale, of a plane so grand,
The Wild Goose, soaring over the land,
With its wings spread wide, it flew with might,
A true hero, in every child's sight.
