Ktunaxa language

In Montana and Idaho, they reside, The Kutenai people, with language to guide. Kootenai, Kootenay, Ktunaxa, they say, A language unique, in its own special way. Isolated it stands, like a language lone, Unrelated to others, it stands on its own. Not Salishan, nor any other they know, Kutenai language, with its own vibrant flow. In British Columbia, it echoes so clear, The Kutenai language, for all to hear. Spoken by tribes, both young and old, A language of stories, waiting to be told. And alongside their words, they also express, With ʔa·qanⱡiⱡⱡitnam, their sign language, no less. With hands and gestures, they communicate, A beautiful language, that's truly innate.
