In the land of computers, oh so grand, There came a machine, a wonderland, The ND-500, a marvel to see, With 32-bits of power, it could be! In 1981, it made its debut, Created by Norsk Data, that's true, With SINTRAN III, the OS it ran, And a trusty ND-100, its helping hand. A superminicomputer, it was called, With shared-memory, it stood tall, Up to four CPUs, it could possess, Working together, they were the best! Housekeeping tasks, the ND-100 did, Running the OS, it never hid, While the ND-500, with all its might, Handled the tasks, day and night.
