LZ17

In the skies it soared so high, LZ 17 Sachsen, reaching for the sky. A Zeppelin of wonder, majestic and grand, With DELAG it flew, across the land. Passengers aboard, with smiles so bright, Floating through clouds, such a beautiful sight. From city to city, it gracefully glided, With hearts full of joy, they happily confided. But then came the war, a time of great strife, LZ 17 Sachsen, called to serve a new life. For the Imperial German Army, it took to the air, A brave Zeppelin, with a mission to bear. Transferred to the Navy, its purpose redefined, LZ 17 Sachsen, a loyal friend it would find. But alas, the time came, it had to be undone, Dismantled in 1916, its journey was done. Though it's no longer here, its memory remains, LZ 17 Sachsen, forever in our refrains. A symbol of adventure, of dreams taking flight, A whimsical Zeppelin, shining so bright. Random page: ZO probe
