Lwengo

In Central Uganda, there's a town so grand, Lwengo is its name, a magical land. With bustling streets and buildings so tall, It's the heart of the district, loved by all. Once called Mbiriizi, a name of the past, Lwengo shines bright, a town that will last. The chief municipal, administrative too, It's a place where dreams can come true. The people of Lwengo, they work with pride, In shops and markets, side by side. They sell their wares, fresh and new, From fruits and veggies to clothes so blue. Children in Lwengo, with laughter and glee, Run and play, so happy and free. They learn and grow, in schools so fine, With teachers who guide them, like stars that shine.
