Ma'arach
In Israel's land, a tale is told,
Of two alliances, brave and bold.
The first Alignment, strong and true,
Mapai and Ahdut HaAvoda, they grew.
Together they stood, side by side,
With joint lists, their power multiplied.
Labor Alignment, their name so grand,
Three years they stood, hand in hand.
But change was afoot, a merger was near,
With Rafi joining, the path was clear.
The Israeli Labor Party was born,
A new era of unity was sworn.
Years went by, and a new dawn arose,
The Alignment's story, it still goes.
This time with Mapam, they formed anew,
Combined campaigns, their strength grew.
With 63 seats, they held the sway,
A parliamentary majority, a glorious day.
Though the majority was lost in time,
Their 56 seats remain sublime.
The Alignment's legacy, forever it will last,
A tale of alliances, from the past.
In Israel's history, they left their mark,
A symbol of unity, shining bright and stark.
