Mt. Aso
In Japan, there's a mountain grand,
Known as Mount Aso, oh so grand!
A volcano mighty, it stands so tall,
With fiery eruptions, it can enthrall.
Aso Volcano, it's called with pride,
The largest active one, far and wide.
In Kumamoto Prefecture, it does reside,
In Aso Kujū National Park, with great stride.
Within a caldera, it makes its home,
A vast crater where lava does roam.
Twenty-five kilometers, north to south,
And eighteen kilometers, east to mouth.
Takadake, the tallest peak it holds,
Rising high, as the story unfolds.
One thousand five hundred ninety-two meters high,
Above sea level, it touches the sky.
Mount Aso, a wonder for all to see,
A majestic sight, for you and me.
So let's explore this volcano grand,
In the beautiful land of Japan.
