The players gathered, with skills so keen, To battle it out, on the Go board so clean. Strategies and tactics, they would employ, To claim the title, and bring home joy. The NEC Cup, a stage for the best, Where legends were made, and dreams were blessed. Masters of Go, with minds so bright, They played with all their strength, day and night. Year after year, the competition grew, As players from all over, their talents they drew. The Go board witnessed battles intense, As players fought for victory, with no pretense.
