NZR DSB class
In New Zealand's land so grand,
A locomotive took its stand.
Introduced in '54, you see,
By New Zealand Railways, with glee.
The NZR DSB, a shunting delight,
With power and strength, it's quite a sight.
It chugs along the rail network wide,
With its wheels turning side by side.
A type of locomotive, unique and rare,
It helps move cargo from here to there.
With its engine roaring, strong and loud,
It pulls the wagons through every cloud.
Children watch in awe and cheer,
As the DSB locomotive draws near.
Its colors bright, red and blue,
A symbol of strength, tried and true.
So let's give a cheer for this mighty train,
The NZR DSB, it won't refrain.
It keeps our railways running strong,
A locomotive we'll sing about all day long.
