In Nigeria's land so grand, There lived a sprinter, oh so grand, Nnamdi Anusim was his name, With speed and skill, he gained his fame. Born in July, a summer's delight, With dreams of running at great heights, He trained and practiced every day, To represent his country, come what may. At the Olympics, he did compete, In the relay, oh what a feat! With teammates by his side so strong, They sprinted together all day long. In the year 2000, it was their chance, To show the world their sprinting dance, Nnamdi ran with all his might, His speed was truly a wondrous sight.
